I love green! I dug deep into some vintage handmade Italian aventurina (goldstone) beads I had hidden away, probably 30 years ago. Probably more. Yes, I've been collecting beads since I was a teenager. I pulled out gold-filled chain and mixed it with with gold-filled accent beads and some vermeil, which is a lovely, quality gold-plating over sterling silver.

AND I have loved the ease of putting a necklace over my head lately, without a clasp to fasten. At 35”, this is also long enough to double up if you can wear a choker length necklace comfortably (see the second image here). Along with the vintage glass, I selected a gorgeously beautiful shimmery pearl. and a sparkly golden druzy charm. 

The bottom image pictures a few of these "over the head" designs in hand at a recent art festival, in indirect sunlight.
